Jamie Bryson’s curfew lifted
Prominent loyalist Jamie Bryson had his 8pm curfew lifted and tag removed today during a sitting of Belfast Magistrates Court.
Mr Bryson, 23, was arrested in Bangor in February and questioned on suspicion of public order offences linked to the ongoing flag protests in Belfast.
He was charged in March with encouraging or assisting offences, and taking part in an unnotified public procession.
A number of loyalist attended the hearing in support of Mr Bryson.
He is next expected to appear at court on June 20.
