Stormont condanna gli attacchi repubblicani

Il politici dell’Assemblea nordirlandese hanno condannato gli attacchi armati in Fermanagh e a Belfast avvenuti nel fine settimana

Poliziotti in borghese hanno salvato la vita di un agente della PSNI a Garrison ed una bomba da 180 chilogrammi è stata lasciata fuori dal quartier generale del Policing Board a Belfast.

I repubblicano vengono ritenuti responsabili per entrambi gli attacchi.

Arlene Foster, parlamentare del DUP, ha reso omaggio alla polizia che ha sventato il piano omicida a Garrison.

Michelle Gildernew, Sinn Fein, ha condannato entrambe le azioni.

La rappresentante shinner ha parlato dell’attacco tramite bomba contro il complesso del Policing Board a Clarendon Dock, a Belfast.

Sir Reg Empey, leader dell’Ulster Unionist Party, ha invitato il dialogo per garantire il rispetto della minaccia.

Il presidente nazionalista dello SDLP, Mark Durkan, afferma che deve essere chiaro il sostegno di chiunque verlo la polizia.

I normali lavori dell’Assemblea di Stormont sono stati accantonati per dare ai politici l’opportunità di registrare le loro condanne.

Assembly condemns weekend attacks

Politicians in the NI Assembly have condemned weekend gun and bomb attacks in Fermanagh and Belfast.

Undercover police saved the life of a policeman in Garrison and a 400lb bomb was left outside the Policing Board headquarters in Belfast.

It’s thought dissident republicans were behind the attacks. Arlene Foster, DUP MLA paid tribute to the police who thwarted the murder bid in Garrison.

Michelle Gildernew, Sinn Fein, condemned both attacks.

She spoke about the weekend bomb attack at the board headquarters in the Clarendon Dock complex in Belfast.

Ulster Unionist leader Sir Reg Empey called for dialogue to ensure the threat was met.

SDLP leader Mark Durkan said it must be clear that the police have everyone’s total support.

Normal assembly business was set aside to give politicians the opportunity to record their condemnation.
