Terminato allarme bomba a Lisburn

Un allarme sicurezza a Lisburn, durante il quale sono stati evacuati alcuni residenti, è terminato questa notte

Un oggetto sospetto è stato ritrovato domenica sera in Causeway End Road. Dagli esami eseguiti dagli artificieri dell’esercito britannico, si è rivelato un finto ordigno.

Le strade colpite dall’allarme sono state riaperte alle 4 di mattina ed i residenti sono potuti rientrare nelle proprie abitazioni.

Durante l’allarme bomba sono stati ospitati presso un salone della Chiesa Indipendente Metodista.

Paul Givan, parlamentare del DUP, ha affermato: “Questa è una chiamata beffarda, è assolutamente stupido causare fastidio alla gente in questo modo”.

Lisburn bomb alert a hoax

A security alert in Lisburn, during which a number of residents were evacuated from their homes, has ended.

A suspicious object found in the Causeway End Road in the city late on Sunday night was examined by army bomb experts, who declared the device was a hoax.

Roads in the area were reopened at around 4am on Monday and residents allowed to return home.

They took shelter at the Independent Methodist Church hall during the alert.

Speaking to UTV on Sunday local DUP MLA Paul Givan said: “If this is a prank call, well it is completely stupid to disrupt people in this manner.”
