La polizia è finita sotto attacco in diverse zone dell’Irlanda del Nord nella serata di mercoledì
Un automezzo della polizia ed altre due vetture sono state danneggiate durante i disordini.
Contro la polizia sono state lanciate anche bombe di vernice e altri oggetti. Non ci sono notizie di feriti.
Un giovane di 21 anni è stato arrestato per comportamento riottoso ed un’adolescente è stata fermata per disturbo.
Poco dopo la ragazza è stata rilasciata.
Un portavoce della polizia ha detto che gli agenti hanno collaborato con i rappresentanti della comunità per riportare la calma nella zona.
A North Belfast una bottiglia incendiaria è stata lanciata contro la stazione di polizia di Tennent Street – nell’area di Shankill Road – ma non è esplosa.
C’è stato anche il tentativo di sequestrare un veicolo, sempre nella stessa zona.
La polizia è finita sotto il lancio di bottiglie incendiarie a Springfield Road e a Suffoilk Road.
Pietre, sempre verso la polizia, anche a East Belfast, nella zona di Eastbridge.
Piccoli incidenti anche a South Belfast, dove un cassonetto è stato dato alle fiamme in Cromwell Road.
A Derry sono state lanciate bottiglie incendiarie nella zona di Brandiwell e Gobnascale.
Due automezzi sono stati danneggiati a Newry, nelle aree di Mourneview Park e Canal Key.
Cassonetti in fiamme – secondo il resoconto della polizia – anche a Larne.

Third night of trouble across NI
Police came under attack during a second night of sporadic trouble across Northern Ireland on Wednesday night.
A police vehicle and two other vehicles were damaged during the disorder.
Paint bombs and other missiles were also thrown at police, however there are no reports of any injuries.
A 21 year-old man was arrested for riotous behaviour and a juvenile was also arrested for disorderly behaviour.
However, the girl was later released pending reports.
A PSNI spokesperson said officers liased with community representatives to bring calm to the area.
In North Belfast, a petrol bomb was thrown at Tennent Street PSNI station – in the Shankill Road area – but it failed to go off.
There was also an attempted hijacking in the area.
Police also came under attack from petrol bombers on the Springfield Road and the Suffolk Road.
Stones were thrown at police at Eastbridge in East Belfast.
There was also minor trouble in South Belfast, where a bin was set alight on the Cromwell Road.
In Londonderry, petrol bombs were thrown in Brandywell and Gobnascale.
Two cars were damaged during minor trouble in the Mournview park and Canal Key areas of Newry.
Police also said bins were set on fire in Larne.
