Trattore contro Orange Hall?

La polizia sta indagando su un attacco contro una Orange Hall nella Contea di Antrim, avvenuto questa mattina. Un trattore, riferiscono gli agenti, potrebbe essere stato utilizzato per provocare i danni al complesso.

Un grande muro perimetrale della Granagh Independent Orange Hall, a Rasharkin, è stato abbattuto. La Hall era stata ripetutamente oggetto di attacchi negli ultimi mesi.

La polizia pensa che il muro sia stato demolito da un trattore. Anche la porta d’ingresso della Orange Hall è stata danneggiata.

Un portavoce della PSNI ha affermato che un grande numero di persone, molte più del solito, si erano ritrovati nella zona al momento dell’attacco.

Tractor may have been used in Orange Hall attack

POLICE investigating an attack on an Orange Hall in Co Antrim this morning, say a tractor may have been used to cause destruction.

A large boundary wall outside the hall in Rasharkin, which has been repeatedly targeted in recent months, was knocked over.

Police say they believe a tractor may have been used to cause the damage to the wall. The front door of the Orange Hall was also damaged in the early morning attack.

A PSNI spokesperson said a larger than normal number of people were in the area at the time.
