Tre fermi per attacco a Derry

La polizia continua ad interrogare tre persone in collegamento con un incidente avvenuto venerdì mattina nel Waterside

Le finestre di una casa di Hollymount Park ed una vettura sono state danneggiate intorno alle 4 del mattino.

Un uomo di 26 anni era stato ferito dai repubblicani, che spararono contro la stessa abitazione, in agosto.

Un testimone ha riferito a BBC che uomini a volto coperto hanno attaccato la casa e l’autovettura con spranghe di ferro, prima dell’arrivo della polizia.

Quindi la polizia avrebbe inseguito la banda con due vetture senza insegne.

L’area resta ancora cordonata.

Three questioned over Derry house attack

The police are continuing to question three people in connection with an incident in the Waterside area of Londonderry early on Friday morning.

The windows of a house at Hollymount Park and a car parked outside were smashed at about 0400 GMT.

A 26-year-old man was injured when dissident republicans fired at the same house in August.

An eyewitness told the BBC that masked men attacked the house and car with iron bars before the police arrived.

He said the police then pursued the gang in two unmarked cars.

The area remains cordoned off.
