Due uomini, di 25 e 34 anni, erano stati arrestati lunedì.
Il terzo uomo, di 41 anni, è stato fermato martedì sera a West Belfast.
Tutti sono stati rilasciati dalla polizia incondizionatamente.
L’ordigno era stato ritrovato sotto la vettura familiare di un agente di polizia nel pomeriggio di domenica.
L’agente della PSNI, insieme alla moglie e ai suoi due figli, stava per lasciare l’abitazione di Upper Newtownards Road per il pranzo, quando ha notato l’ordigno.
Sono intervenuti gli artificieri per mettere in sicurezza l’area.
Secondo la polizia la responsabilità per l’attacco dovrebbe essere dei gruppi armati repubblicani.

Three men released over Belfast car bomb
Three men arrested by police over the attempted murder of a police officer in east Belfast have been released without charge.
Two men aged 25 and 34 were detained in the city on Monday.
A third man aged 41 was arrested in west Belfast on Tuesday night.
All three have been released unconditionally by police.
A booby trap bomb was found under the family car of the off-duty police officer on Sunday afternoon.
The PSNI officer, his wife and two young children were about to leave their Upper Newtownards Road home for lunch when he spotted the device.
Dissident republicans are being blamed for the attack.
