Esclusivo: padre e figlio sono stati sfrattati dalle loro case a West Belfast dai paramilitari dell’UDA in uno scontro collegato a un tentato omicidio
Il Belfast Daily può rivelare che i due uomini sono stati fatti allontanare dalle loro case nella sera di domenica (23 dicembre, Ndt) nel corso della faida interna alla brigata West Belfast.
Alcune ore prima un gruppo di lealisti dell’UDA avevano infranto le finestre di tre abitazioni, tuttavia la PSNI afferma di non aver ancora stabilito un movente.
La polizia era stata allertate nel timore di un ulteriore spargimento di sangue, dopo che un uomo era stato accoltellato sabato notte nella zona di Shankill.
Dee Coleman è stato sottoposto immediatamente ad un intervento chirurgico al Royal Victoria Hospital di Belfast per una grave ferita da arma da taglio.
Ora si trova in condizioni stabili in ospedale, ma secondo l’intelligence della polizia alcuni lealisti di West Belfast potrebbero cercare di vendicare il tentato omicidio.
Secondo fonti lealiste l’attacco sarebbe avvenuto dopo che Coleman si era battuto con due lealisti.
“Dee è un uomo duro e ha battuto Darryl Ritiche e Daniel Austen insieme.
“Poi sabato notte è stato accoltellato da un veterano dell’UDA”.
L’attacco, avvenuto intorno alle 19:40, ha scatenato una serie di attacchi vendicativi nella zona di Shankill Road a West Belfast.
In un attacco una macchina appartenente al brigadiere UDA di West Belfast, Matt Kincaid, è stata rovinata.
Dopo l’accoltellamento, un ventinovenne è stato arrestato con l’accusa di tentato omicidio. Tuttavia, dopo diverse ore di interrogatorio, l’indagato è stato rilasciato senza accuse.
Una fonte lealista ha detto: “L’accoltellamento non è stato fatto dal ragazzo arrestato.
“L’attacco è stato condotto da un veterano dell’UDA. La polizia dovrebbe arrestarlo per questo attacco”.
Domenica sera, le finestre di alcune case sono state distrutte. La fonte lealista ha affermato che l’attacco è direttamente collegato all’accoltellamento.
La fonte ha aggiunto: “Se la polizia non mette un freno a tutto questo, qualcuno potrebbe essere assassinato.
“La gente non vuole questi avvenimenti nel periodo natalizio. CHi ha sale in zucca dovrebbe intervenire prima di ritrovarci tutti a seguire una bara proprio nel periodo di Natale”.

UDA AT WAR: FATHER AND SON EVICTED AS INTERNAL FEUD ESCALATES
EXCLUSIVE: A FATHER and son have been evicted from their homes in west Belfast by the UDA in a row linked to a murder bid.
Belfast Daily can reveal the pair were put out of their homes on Sunday evening as a bitter internal feud inside the west Belfast brigade escalated.
Hours earlier three homes had their windows smashed by a gang of UDA men as part of the dispute.
However, the PSNI said it had not established a motive.
Police in the area had been on high alert fearing further bloodletting after a man was stabbed in the Shankill area on Saturday night.
Dee Coleman underwent surgery at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast for a serious knife wound.
He is now in a stable condition in hospital but police intelligence warned that some loyalists in west Belfast would try and avenge the murder bid.
Loyalist sources said the attack happened after Coleman had been in a fight with two other loyalists.
“Dee is a hard man and he beat Darryl Ritiche and Daniel Austen together.
“Then on Saturday night he was stabbed by a UDA veteran.”
The attack, which happened around 7.40 pm, has sparked a number tit-for-tat attacks in the Shankill Road area of west Belfast.
In one incident, a car belonging to the UDA’s west Belfast brigadier, Matt Kincaid, was attacked.
Following the stabbing, a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
However, after several hours of questioning the suspect was released without charge.
A loyalist source said: “The guy arrested didn’t do the stabbing.
“The attack was carried out by a UDA veteran. He is the one the police should be arresting for this attack.”
On Sunday evening, the windows in a number of homes were smashed in what loyalist sources said was directly linked to the stab attack.
The source added: “If police don’t put a lid on this somebody is going to get murdered.
“People don’t want this coming up to Christmas. Wise heads should intervene before we are all walking behind a coffin this Christmas.”
