Ulster Day Parade: in migliaia per la parata UVF
Thousands take part in UVF parade
Thousands of people have taken part in a parade to mark the centenary of the formation of the UVF in west Belfast.
Many of those taking part were dressed in period costume, while thousands more lined the streets for the parade.
The event was a re-enactment of one of the key events of the Home Rule crisis.
One hundred years ago at Fernhill House in the Glencairn area, unionist leader Edward Carson inspected members of the new west Belfast regiment of the Ulster Volunteer Force.
The parade featured many historical artifacts dating back to the beginning of the 20th century.
