Uomo attaccato in stile paramilitare a North Belfast

Un uomo è stato aggredito da una banda a volto coperto in un attacco in stile paramilitare. Lo ha affermato la polizia.

L’assalto è avvenuto nella zona di Mountview Street, a North Belfast, intorno alle 21.30 di venerdì.

L’uomo aggredito, di 19 anni, è stato colpito ripetutamente dagli uomini armati con bastoni e spranghe. Ha subito ferite alla testa ed alla schiena.

Immediatamente trasportato in ospedale, la PSNI riferisce che le ferite non mettono a rischio la vita dell’uomo.

I detective stanno cercando testimoni.

Man assaulted by gang in masks

A man was set upon by a masked gang in a paramilitary-style attack, police said.

The assault happened in Mountview Street area in north Belfast at around 9.30pm on Friday.

The man, 19, was jumped in an alleyway by the men armed with bats and bars, suffering injuries to his head and back.

He was taken to hospital but the Police Service of Northern Ireland said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses.
