Uomo e donna arrestati per attività repubblicana

Sabato mattina gli investigatori hanno arrestato un uomo ed una donna legati alle attività dei gruppi repubblicani

L’uomo, 25 anni, è stato fermato a Lurgan mentre la donna, di 26 anni, è stata arrestata ad Armagh.

Entrambi vengono interrogati ai sensi del Terrorism Act nella Serious Crime Suite della stazione di polizia di Antrim.

Venerdì, nel frattempo, un ventenne arrestato durante le indagini sulle attività repubblicane è stato rilasciato sebbene sia stato inviato un rapporto al PPS (Public Prosecution Service – Procuratore Generale).

Il giovane era stato fermato giovedì a West Belfast.

Pair detained over dissident activity

Detectives investigating dissident republican activity have arrested a man and a woman on Saturday morning.

The 25-year-old man was detained in Lurgan, while the 26-year-old woman was arrested in Armagh.

Both are being questionned under the Terrorism Act at Antrim Serious Crime Suite.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man arrested by police investigating dissident republican activity was released on Friday evening pending a report to the PPS.

He was detained in west Belfast on Thursday.
