Man Charged Over NI Barracks Murders
A man has been charged with the murders of two soldiers and the attempted murder of six other people at a military base in Northern Ireland.
Sappers Mark Quinsey, 23, from Birmingham, and Patrick Azimkar, 21, from London, were shot dead at Massereene Army barracks in March as they waited for a pizza delivery at the gates of the Antrim base.
The 44-year-old has also been charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life.
He was arrested in mid-Ulster on Tuesday and is due appear in court in Ballymena, Co Antrim later.
One man has already been charged with the attack which took place on March 7.
Gunmen from the dissident republican Real IRA opened fire on the soldiers outside the barracks as they collected pizzas.
Those injured in the attack included pizza delivery men.
