Un trentenne è stato colpito ad una gamba a West Belfast
Il ferimento è avvenuto in Ardmonagh Gardens a Turf Lodge intorno alle 22:30 di martedì.
La polizia riferisce che il giovane è stato trasportato in ospedale per essere curato.
Le sue ferite non ne mettono in pericolo la vita.
La consigliera comunale dello Sinn Féin Janice Austin ha affermato: “Non c’è spazio nella nostra società per azioni come queste. L’attacco deve essere condannato.
“I residenti non desiderano questo genere di attacchi. I responsabili non offrono nulla alla gente dell’area e devono fermarsi immediatamente”.
La polizia chiede a chiunque abbia riscontrato attività sospette di contattare gli investigatori.

Man shot in leg in west Belfast
A man in his 30s has been shot in the leg in west Belfast.
It happened in Ardmonagh Gardens in Turf Lodge at 10.30pm on Tuesday.
Police said the man was taken to hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area or who has any further information on this attack has been asked to contact the PSNI.
Sinn Féin councillor Janice Austin said: “There can be no place for actions like this in our society and this attack must be condemned.
“People in the local area do not want these type of attacks. Those responsible are offering nothing to the people of the area and need to stop their actions immediately.”
