Uomo in tribunale a Derry per il raduno repubblicano di Pasqua

Un ventottenne è comparso in tribunale a Derry per rispondere delle accuse legate alla commemorazione di Pasqua 2011

Frank Quigley, di Elmwood Road, è accusato di aver organizzato o gstito un incontro in sostegno dell’IRA ad aprile.

Egli è anche accusato di favoreggiamento per aver fatto indossare abiti in grado suscitare un ragionevole sospetto che le persone che li portavano fossero membri dell’IRA o loro sostenitori.

Quigley è stato rilasciato con la condizionale.

Tra le condizioni imposte anche il coprifuoco notturno.

Comparirà nuovamente in tribunale il 7 luglio.

Man in Londonderry court over Easter rally

A 28-year-old man has appeared in court in Londonderry on terrorist charges linked to an Easter commemoration in the city this year.

Frank Quigley, from Elmwood Road, is accused of arranging or managing a meeting in support of the IRA in April.

He is also charged with aiding and abetting people in the wearing of clothing to arouse a reasonable suspicion that the wearers were IRA members or supporters.

Mr Quigley was released on bail.

A night time curfew and a number of other conditions were imposed.

He is due to appear again on 7 July.
