Un importante orangista ha condannato l’attacco bollandolo come un tentativo di “innalzare le tensioni”.
“La gente dietro a questo tipo di attacchi non ha nulla da offrire alla comunità, tranne la divisione, ha affermato il vice sindaco di Belfast, William Humphrey (DUP).
“La gente di differenti culture dovrebbe essere in grado di seguire le proprie tradizioni senza essere soggetto a forme di attacco.
“Questo è uno degli edifici storici del paesaggio cittadino ma è stato attaccato ancora una volta da gente cui non sembra aver cura della storia”.

An Orange Hall in Belfast has been targeted in an overnight paint bomb attack.
Police have appealed for more information.
A senior Orangeman has condemned the attack as an attempt to “escalate tensions”.
“The people who are behind this sort of attack have nothing to offer this community, except division,” said Deputy Lord Mayor William Humphrey.
“People of different cultures should be able to enjoy their traditions without being subjected to any form of attack.
“This is one of the city’s historic landmark buildings but has been targeted once again by people who do not seem to care about anyone’s history.”
