Vernice contro Orange Hall a Ballydougan, Portadown
Paint splattered over Orange Hall
There has been a paint attack on an Orange Hall in Co Armagh.
Ballydougan Orange Hall, near Portadown, was targeted over the weekend.
Paint was thrown at the front door and façade of the building on the Bleary Road on Saturday evening, or in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The Orange Order said it’s the first time the property, which has recently been refurbished, has ever been attacked.
A spokesperson continued: “The mindless individuals behind this cowardly and underhanded crime have nothing to offer society and should be ashamed of their actions.”
Police have appealed for information about the incident – which is being treated as a hate crime.

“Police received a report that a paint bomb had been thrown over the Hall.
“Police are treating this as a hate crime and I would appeal to anyone who has any information in relation to this incident to contact Police on the non-emergency number 101.”
