Il ferimento con arma da fuoco è avvenuto nella serata di lunedì a Bog Meadows, nell’area di St James a West Belfast.
I principali sospetti della polizia sono i componenti di Oglaigh na hÉireann.
L’uomo, ferito ad entrambe le gambe da colpi di arma da fuoco, è stato trasportato dall’ambulanza al Royal Victoria Hospital poco dopo le 20.
Un portavoce dell’ospedale afferma che le condizioni dell’uomo sono stabili e non è in pericolo di vita.

MAN SHOT LEGS IN WEST BELFAST ATTACK
DETECTIVES are investigating after a man was shot in both legs in a suspected dissident republican punishment attack.
The shooting happened at the Bog Meadows in the St James area of west Belfast on Monday evening.
Oglaigh na hEireann (ONH) are the prime suspects for the PSNI over the shooting
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said the victim was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital shortly after 8 pm.
A hospital spokesman said the man’s condition was stable and his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
