L’attivista lealista sostiene che l’aggressione gli ha provocato fratture alle costole
Ieri sera l’attivista Willie Frazer è stato aggredito nella sua abitazione.
Il lealista ha detto che “una macchina carica di repubblicani” è arrivata presso la sua abitazione fuori Markethill, Contea di Armagh, e gli hanno consegnato un biglietto di condoglianze annunciando: “Sei un uomo morto”.
Ha spiegato: “Ci siamo insultati a vicenda prima che mi prendessero. Siamo finiti a rotoloni lungo il giardino.
“Alcuni vicini sono giunti quasi subito e loro (i repubblicani, Ndt) hanno cominciato ad andarsene. Hanno detto che torneranno e mi hanno ripetuto nuovamente «Sei un uomo morto».
“Hanno detto: «Noi non ce ne siamo andati, lo sai». Ho telefonato alla PSNI ma non li ho ancora visti”.
Willie Frazer ha detto che era ancora in attesa di un’ambulanza e ritiene di avere alcune costole fratturate.
Frazer, che gestiva il gruppo per le vittime della violenza dell’IRA “FAIR”, era già stato aggredito in precedenza e nel 2013 gli hanno incendiato la macchina.
Il lealista afferma di essere stato ripetutamente minacciato per le sue posizioni fortemente anti-repubblicane e per la sua volontà di confrontarsi con i leader repubblicani di South Armagh.
Il pastore Barrie Halliday, amico di Willie Frazer, ha detto a Belfast Live che gli aggressori erano della brigata di Tyrone dell’Irish Republican Army e ha aggiunto: “A loro non importa nulla del cessate-il-fuoco- Torneranno e uccideranno Willie.
“La polizia adesso è arrivata e sta controllando i filmati delle telecamere di sorveglianza installate da Frazer.
“Si vede molto chiaramente l’uomo che aggredisce Willie e Frazer che lo respinge. È abbastanza dolorante al momento, ma sta bene”.

Mr Frazer says he has suffered broken ribs
Victims campaigner Willie Frazer has been attacked at his home tonight.
The high profile activist said a ‘car load of republicans’ arrived at his house outside Markethill, Co Armagh and he was handed a sympathy card and told: “You’re a dead man.”
He said: “Words were exchanged before they made at me and we ended up rolling around the garden.
“Some neighbours soon arrived and they began to leave. They said they would be back and that I was to get out, and again said, ‘You’re a dead man.’
“They said, ‘We haven’t gone away you know.’ I phoned the PSNI straight away but haven’t see them yet.”
Mr Frazer said he was still waiting for an ambulance and believes he has suffered broken ribs.
Mr Frazer, who runs the FAIR victims group, has been attacked before with his car being burned out in 2013.
He says he has been threatened many times due to his vehemently anti-republican stance and willingness to confront people he says are leading republicans in the South Armagh area.
Pastor Barrie Halliday, a friend of Frazer, told Belfast Live the attackers ‘Tyrone IRA’ and added: “They don’t give a f**k about the ceasefire and they’ll be back to get Willie.
“The police are here now and they are looking at the CCTV Willie has at the house.
“You can see the fella clear enough attacking Willie and Willie pushing him back. He’s pretty sore at the minute but he’s okay.”
