Viene accusato di aver trattenuto informazioni sull’assassinio del repubblicano, avvenuto il mese scorso a Dublino.
Il sospettato, originario della parte nord della capitale irlandese, è stato prelevato dagli investigatori mercoledì scorso.
È stato trattenuto nella stazione di polizia di Coolock e interrogato in base alla legislazione anti-bande criminali, prima di essere rilasciato nella tarda serata di ieri.
Tuttavia l’uomo è stato immediatamente ri-arrestato e accusato di aver nascosto informazioni sull’omicidio di alto profilo. L’uomo, di circa 35 anni, dovrebbe comparire oggi in tribunale.
L’Herald è venuto a sapere che l’uomo ha vissuto nella zona di Donnycarney negli ultimi tempi e in precedenza frequentava dei gangster legati a Christy Griffin, presunto “signore” della pedofilia.
L’uomo, comunque, non sarebbe coinvolto nella faida scoppiata nella parte nord di Dublino, che ha visto cinque vittime.

Man charged with RIRA boss murder
He was charged with withholding information about Ryan’s murder in Dublin last month.
The suspect, who is originally from Dublin’s north inner city, was picked up by detectives on Wednesday of last week.
He had been held at Coolock Garda Station since then and questioned under anti-gangland legislation before being briefly released late last night.
However, he was then immediately re-arrested and charged with withholding information about the high profile gun murder. The man, in his mid 30s, was due to appear in court today.
The Herald understands that he had been living in the Donnycarney area in recent times and was previously friendly with some of the gangsters connected to paedophile crimelord Christy Griffin.
However, he was not involved in the north inner city feud which claimed five lives.
