Gerry Kelly nega ipocrisia delle sue critiche

Gerry Kelly, Sinn Fein, ha negato che la gente autrice dei disordini di Belfast questa settimana stia semplicemente ripetendo ciò che lui ed il suo partito fecero durante i Troubles.

Kelly è stato severamente critico sui dissidenti repubblicani, accusati di aver orchestrato le tre notti di disordini ad Ardoyne dopo la parata lealista passata nel quartiere lunedì.

Comunque, ha negato che lo Sinn Fein avesse fatto le stesse cose durante i Troubles.

Kelly ha riferito che i residenti erano contrari alle violenze di questa settimana, provocate, secondo lui, da gente esterna al quartiere di Ardoyne.

Ha anche parlato di miracolo in quanto nessuno dei contestatori è rimasto ucciso.

SF’s Kelly denies hypocrisy over riots criticism

Sinn Fein’s Gerry Kelly has denied that the people behind rioting in Belfast this week were merely repeating what he and his party did during the Troubles.

Mr Kelly has been severely critical of the dissident republicans blamed for orchestrating three nights of rioting in Ardoyne following a loyalist parade in the area on Monday.

However, he has denied that Sinn Fein was doing the exact same thing during the Troubles.

Mr Kelly says local residents were opposed to this week’s violence, which he says was carried out by people from outside the Ardoyne area.

He also says it was a miracle that one of the rioters didn’t get killed.
