Lo ha trascorso a casa con suo marito, i figli e la cerchia familiare allargata?

Ha potuto aprire i regali?
La risposta a tutte queste domande è NO.
Oggi Marian Price ha passato un altro compleanno in prigione, dove vigono le regole carcerarie. Si trova in ospedale ma è ancora in prigione, con due guardie armate alla porta che permettono al marito e alla famiglia una visita con cui portare alcuni biglietti di auguri.

È un giorno molto triste in un luogo molto triste in cui trascorrere un compleanno. Domenica scorsa a Marian fu permesso di uscire per 3 misere ore per dire arrivederci alla sua amata sorella Dolours. Tutti i prossimi compleanni della sua vita saranno tinti di tristezza perché Dolours se n’è andata pochi giorni prima.
Alcuni membri della sua famiglia, amici e compagni hanno celebrato il suo compleanno.
Abbiamo tenuto una protesta tranquilla e rispettosa, consegnando volantini, fuori dal Club GAA a Casement Park a West Belfast, durante la partita Antrim-Cavan.

Today is Marian Prices birthday.
Did she spend it at home with her husband and children and wider family circle?
Did she have a cake with candles?
Was she able to open up presents?
The answer to all of those questions is NO.
Today Marian Price spent another birthday in prison where prison rules apply. It may be in a hospital but prison it still is, with two armed guards at her door allowing her husband and children in on “A Visit” with some birthday cards.
What do you write on that birthday card?
Happy Birthday, have a nice day?
Hope you get everything you wish for to-day?
Enjoy your presents?
It is a very sad day in a very sad place to have a birthday. Last Sunday she was allowed out for 3 miserable hours to say goodbye to her dear sister Dolours. Future birthdays for the rest of her life will be tinged with sadness because Dolours passed so close to it.

We held a quiet respectful protest handing out leaflets outside the GAA Club at Casement Park in West Belfast, at the Antrim/Cavan Match.
