Il fratello di Alan Ryan, numero uno della Real IRA nella capitale irlandese assassinato nel 2012, è stato ferito in un attacco armato
Vincent Ryan, 25 anni, è stato attaccato mentre si trovava in un’automobile in McKee Road a Finglas.
Il giovane è in gravi condizioni.
Alan Ryan, a capo della Real IRA, fu colpito da ripetuti proiettili in Grand Lodge Avenue a Clongriffin nel settembre 2012.
Il gruppo armato comandato da Ryan era coinvolto in una lunga faida con un altro gruppo di Dublino.
Lo scorso ottobre Vincent Ryan fu accoltellato in Parnell Street, nel centro di Dublino, e fu avvertito dalla Gardai che la sua vita era in grave pericolo.
Il consigliere del Fianna Fail Paul McAuliffe ha condannato l’attacco di oggi.
“Questo è accaduto nel cuore della mia comunità” ha spiegato il politico. “La mia famiglia vive qui. Spaventa il modo in cui i criminali diventano sempre più impudenti”.
Un portavoce di An Garda Siochana ha affermato: “Un uomo è stato trasportato d’urgenza al Mater Hospital. Le sue condizioni sono molto gravi”.
Gli investigatori della polizia sono sulla scena del crimine.

Real IRA terror chief Alan Ryan’s brother shot in Dublin
THE brother of murdered IRA terror chief Alan Ryan has been shot in Dublin.
It is understood Vincent Ryan, 25, was blasted in a car on McKee Road in Finglas and is believed to be in a serious condition.
RIRA chief Alan Ryan, 32, was shot several times at Grange Lodge Avenue, Clongriffin in September 2012.
Alan Ryan’s gang was involved in a long-running feud with another Dublin mob.
Vinnie suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed on Dublin’s Parnell Street last October and was warned by Gardai his life was in danger.
Local Fianna Fail Cllr Paul McAuliffe has condemned today’s shooting.
He said: “This happened in the heart of my community. My family lives in the area. It is frightening the way criminals are getting more and more brazen.
A garda spokesperson said: “A man has been brought to the Mater Hospital. His condition is described as serious.”
Investigating gardai are at the scene.
