Un’altra pipe bomb trovata ieri a North Belfast

L’oggetto sospetto ritrovato a Cavehill Road, North Belfast, era perfettamente funzionante

La pipe bomb è stata rinvenuta vicino a Madison Avenue. Cinque appartamenti sono stati evacuati per poco tempo.

Gli artificieri dell’esercito sono stati chiamati sulla scena ed hanno esaminato l’ordigno ritrovato intorno alle 14:30 di giovedì.

L’area è stata cordonata per tutta la durata dell’allarme sicurezza.

Suspect object in north Belfast ‘was pipebomb’

A suspicious device found on the Cavehill Road in north Belfast was a viable device, police have said.

It was found near Madison Avenue. Five flats were evacuated for a time but the occupants have been allowed to return to their homes.

Army bomb officers were called to examine the device at about 1430 GMT on Thursday.

The area was cordoned off for some time as the alert continued.
