Alan Ryan who was shot dead in Dublin this morning, pictured confronting a Garda officer at a protest against the Queen’s visit near Dublin Castle on 18/5/2011. Alan Ryan and his brother Anthony received weapons training from the Real IRA. They had been photographed by undercover cops at a series of protests against the Royal visit. The brothers from north Dublin are linked to a Real IRA gang that has been waging war with major criminals in the city including former associates of Eamon ‘the Don’ Dunne.
