Man in court over McDaid murder
A man was charged with intimidation and making threats to kill on Monday by police investigating a father’s death at the hands of a mob.
Catholic father-of-four Kevin McDaid was killed near his home in Somerset Drive in the Heights area of Coleraine, Northern Ireland, in May last year.
His friend Damien Fleming was also badly injured in the Co Londonderry town.
The suspect, aged 21, was arrested in Coleraine and will appear at Antrim Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
