Teens charged in relation to attacks on Romanians
Police have charged two teenagers in relation to attacks on Roma families in Belfast last week.
The 16 and 15-year-old are both each charged with provocative conduct, while the 15-year-old is also charged of intimidation.
The pair are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning, police say.
They were arrested on Friday during police operations in south Belfast in the wake of attacks on the homes of Roma migrants, all of whom are Romanian nationals. Some 20 families were given refuge in a church hall on Wednesday night.
