Thousands watch Royal Black marches
Thousands of people have turned out to watch the Royal Black Institution parades at six venues across Northern Ireland on Saturday.
Around 17,000 members marched in Antrim, Ballygawley, Comber, Donemana, Limavady and Newry.
The largest demonstration will be in Newry where 5,000 members paraded, with a total of 115 preceptories and 110 bands will march in the Co Down city.
It is thought around 50,000 watched the parade, which was last held in Newry in 1998.
The last Saturday in August is traditionally the most important day in the Royal Black Institution‘s year.
