Newry bomb attack arrest
A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a bomb attack on Newry Courthouse
The suspect was arrested in Antrim this morning and is being questioned by officers at the town’s police station.
A 51-year-old man appeared in court yesterday in connection with the explosion on 22 February.
The vehicle was abandoned at the front of the building around 10pm on the night of the bombing.
Police received the report 30 minutes before the explosion went off.
They were in the process of evacuating the area when the car, which had been reversed into the gates of the heavily fortified building, exploded.
